What a one-item move costs
A Standard Pickup starts at $39 plus $2.10 per driving mile. Heavy items add a flat $29 each; a second helper is $28. Examples with no helper:

Do single item movers cost less than a moving company?
Usually, yes. Full-service movers price by the hour with a minimum, while Truck-N-Go prices one trip: truck base fare plus the driving distance, with a $29 surcharge only on heavy items like couches, appliances and gym equipment.
Will someone help me carry it?
Your driver loads, secures and unloads every haul. For stairs, tight doorways or anything two people should lift, add a second helper for $28 at booking.
Can you move one item between apartments?
Yes — one-item moves are the most common job on Truck-N-Go. Enter the pickup address, the drop-off address and what you're moving, and nearby truck owners see the job with your exact item list before they accept.
What if I'm not at the pickup address?
That's fine. Message your driver in the app with gate codes, unit numbers or seller instructions, and follow the truck on a live map until it reaches the drop-off.
How soon can a single item be moved?
Most hauls are matched with a nearby truck owner within minutes of payment. You can also book a later window if you need a specific time.
