What a junk haul costs

Heavy Hauler starts at $69 plus $2.90 per driving mile for big clean-outs; smaller loads use a cheaper truck tier. Facility tipping fees are paid at the gate. Examples:

JobTypical fare
Old couch to the transfer station, 6 miles$81
Garage clean-out dump run, 10 miles$126
Appliance disposal, 12 miles$121

Fares exclude landfill, transfer station and recycling tipping fees, which vary by facility and are paid on site.

How it works

  1. 1. Set the pickup and the disposal site

Enter your address and the transfer station, recycling centre or donation drop-off.

  2. 2. A local truck owner takes the job

Drivers see your item list before accepting, so the right truck shows up.

  3. 3. Watch it leave and get a receipt

Track the truck on a live map and get your fare receipt by email when the haul completes.

Junk hauling FAQ

How is this different from a junk removal company?

Junk removal companies price by how full their truck gets after they arrive. Truck-N-Go prices the trip before you book: truck base fare plus mapped driving distance, with a flat heavy-item surcharge only for things like appliances and hot tub covers.

Do you take the junk to the dump?

Yes. Set the drop-off to your local transfer station, recycling centre or donation site and the driver hauls it there. Dump or landfill tipping fees are paid at the gate and are not part of the app fare.

Will the driver help load the junk?

Your driver loads and unloads the truck. For a heavy clean-out or anything two people should lift, add a second helper for $28 at booking.

What can't be hauled?

No hazardous waste: paint, solvents, oil, batteries, propane tanks, asbestos, medical or biological waste, or anything a transfer station will refuse. Ordinary household and yard junk is fine.

Can you take away one old couch or mattress?

Yes — single-item disposal is one of the most common junk hauls. A couch or mattress counts as a heavy item, so add $29 to the trip fare.
