What local hauling costs

Box Run starts at $24 plus $1.60 per driving mile for small loads; Heavy Hauler starts at $69 plus $2.90 per mile for big ones. No hourly minimum. Examples:

JobTypical fare
Small load across town, 5 miles$32
Appliance haul, 9 miles$115
Debris pile to the transfer station, 12 miles$161

Landfill, transfer station and recycling tipping fees are paid on site and are not part of the app fare.

How it works

  1. 1. Enter pickup, drop-off and the load

The fare is calculated on the real driving route, so you know the total before booking.

  2. 2. The nearest truck owner accepts

Dispatch works outward from your pickup point, so local jobs fill fast.

  3. 3. Track the haul and get a receipt

Follow the truck live, message your driver, and get the fare receipt by email on completion.

Local hauling FAQ

What does local hauling include?

Any short-distance load a pickup truck can carry: furniture and appliances, a dump or transfer-station run, yard debris, building materials, pallets, storage-unit loads and store pickups. Your driver loads, secures, drives and unloads.

How is local hauling priced?

By the trip, not the hour: a truck base fare plus the mapped driving distance between your two addresses, with a flat $29 surcharge for each heavy item and $28 if you want a second helper. You see the total before you confirm.

How local is local?

Jobs are offered to truck owners closest to your pickup point first, so in-metro hauls are usually matched within minutes. Longer intercity runs are quoted the same way — base fare plus driving miles.

Do I need to help load?

No. Loading and unloading are part of every haul. Add a helper when something needs a two-person lift or has to go up stairs.

Can businesses book local hauling?

Yes. Shops, contractors and workshops use Truck-N-Go for jobsite runs, supplier pickups and last-mile customer drops, and can list themselves in the partner directory.
