Questions
Truck-N-Go frequently asked questions
How booking a truck and driver works, what a haul costs, and what to expect on the day — for riders and for truck owners who want to earn on their own schedule.
Booking a haul
What is Truck-N-Go?
Truck-N-Go connects you with a local truck owner who drives your items for you. You enter a pickup and drop-off address, see the fare before you book, and a nearby driver accepts the job. It works for single items, small moves and hauling runs — anywhere in the world.
How quickly can a truck arrive?
On-demand hauls go out to nearby drivers as soon as you pay, and the app shows you when one accepts. Availability depends on how many truck owners are online near you at that moment, so you can also pick a scheduled window instead of waiting.
Can I schedule a haul for later?
Yes. Choose a date and time window at booking. Scheduled hauls are useful when a building only allows moves in certain hours or when you need to line up with a store's collection times.
Do I have to be there for the pickup?
No. Plenty of hauls are marketplace or store collections where you only meet the driver at the drop-off. Add the seller's or store's contact details in the ride chat so your driver can coordinate the handover.
Which countries can I book in?
Address search and routing work worldwide, so you can book a haul between any two addresses our maps provider can find. Driving for Truck-N-Go additionally requires that our payments provider supports payouts in your country.
Pricing and payment
How is the fare calculated?
The fare is built from the truck size you pick, the driving distance and duration of the actual route, estimated loading time, and any extras such as a second helper. You see the total before you confirm — there is no hourly meter running during the job.
Do I pay before or after the haul?
You pay upfront when you book. That is what releases the job to nearby drivers, and it means the driver knows the job is real before they set off.
What happens to my money if no driver accepts?
If a haul goes unclaimed, the charge is reversed. If you paid with prepaid haul credits, the credit is returned to your balance automatically, including when you abandon checkout partway through.
How much does the driver keep?
Drivers keep the large majority of each fare. Truck-N-Go takes an 18% platform commission, which covers payment processing, dispatch, mapping and support.
Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?
You can cancel before a driver has started toward the pickup for a full refund. Once a driver is en route, part of the fare covers the trip they have already made. The full detail is on our Refund Policy page.
Do you have memberships or credits?
Yes — a rider membership with reduced service fees, prepaid haul credits, a driver subscription and business accounts. They are all listed on the pricing page.
During the haul
Will the driver help me lift and carry?
Your driver helps load and unload the truck. For heavy or awkward items — sofas, mattresses, appliances, anything going up stairs — add a helper at booking so two people are on the job.
Can I track the truck?
Yes. Once a driver accepts, you get a live route map showing their progress to the pickup and then to the drop-off, plus in-app messaging with the driver.
What can't I send?
No hazardous, illegal, live or perishable-in-transit goods, and nothing that exceeds the truck's safe load capacity. If a load is bigger than expected, talk to your driver in the chat before they start loading.
What if something goes wrong?
Message your driver in the ride chat first — most issues are access or timing. If that doesn't resolve it, contact support@truck-n-go.com with your haul details and we'll look into it.
Driving with Truck-N-Go
What do I need to start driving?
A pickup truck or comparable vehicle you're licensed to drive, a valid driving licence, and a payout account with our payments provider. You submit an application with your documents and it's reviewed before you can accept jobs.
How and when do drivers get paid?
Earnings are paid out to your connected payout account after the haul is completed. Your share of each fare, minus the 18% platform commission, is shown in the app.
Do I choose which jobs to take?
Yes. Open hauls appear in your feed with the fare, distance and truck size needed, sorted by how close they are to you. You accept only the ones you want.
Can I drive outside the United States?
You can apply from anywhere, but payouts depend on the countries our payments provider supports. If yours isn't supported yet, you'll see that during onboarding and we'll notify you when it changes.
